Danny Rampling has made much recently of his freedom from Covid credentials. He currently belongs to the group of people who think that having to wash your hands more is the start of a global, Kim Jong Un type regime – although he wasn’t always like this

Rampling has made his distaste of current Covid regulations well known. As is his right in a democracy, of course. So when you agree to do an event – such as the Knowsley Social on May 29th – with restrictions in place, you kinda leave yourself open to charges of hypocrisy.

The FAQ section of the website claims that Covid marshals will enforce social distancing at the event and that face masks will be required when not seated at your table. Just about the only thing that will please Rampling is the fact you don’t have to take a Covid test to be granted entry.

It always amazes me how quickly people can drop their principles when money is involved…
