Now this was a pretty good read here. It’s all about the link between the car and electronic music in all its many guises. It turns out the two have much more in common than I first thought.

Maybe part of the reason this resonated with me is because one of the ways I test my records to see if my mixdown isn’t a pile of toot is to play it in the car. Getting a track to sound good in a car isn’t as easy as it first seems – so if you can get it sounding right in the car, it’ll probably sound fine elsewhere too.

The car speakers are not the only ones I use, but they are one of the more useful ones…
