I’m sorry to have to report the news that Paul Johnson – he of “She Got Me On”, “Get Get Down, “I’m Alone Until You Show Me” and heaps of others fame – has contracted Covid-19. Johnson is currently at the OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Centre and posted this distressing video from his hospital bed.

It hasn’t gone unnoticed that the comments section on this Instagram post is practically a who’s who of house music, both past and present. It just goes to show the sheer extent of the influence that Johnson’s productions have had on so many over the years.

I join everyone else in simply saying I wish him a speedy recovery against this horrid virus.
