DJ Sneak’s revolt against the modern world of digital music goes on. I wrote a lengthy post detailing previous on this, and you can read it here. Hardly much point in repeating myself, is there?

So, Mr Sneak has now asked everyone to remove him from their promo lists if they give out digital files. Vinyl, on the other hand, is something he remains extremely keen to receive. Perhaps that’s just as well.

I fully understand his grievances with the way business is done these days, but I can’t help but feel this move is the equivalent of handing back your washing machine in order to get a mangle. Granted, there’s a lot of crap promos doing the rounds, but he’s not exactly going to have access to many of the latest records if he only plays vinyl, is he?

I wish him well, though. He may yet surprise us…
